Purple bushes in Arizona

As we drove through Arizona State University's Polytechnic campus, we happened upon some bushes that were purple, like a lavender soap. The bushes were covered in purple foam, like one might see if one were to use food coloring in a bubble bath. The bright purple bushes surrounded both sides of the road. This was sight a photographer might dream of catching. In a moment's time, we had passed all of the magnificent bushes and emerged into the dull, brown and red scenery so common in Arizona.
